He trained with Jean Luc Penso in Chinese shadow puppets and glove puppets, with Isabel Barros - "Body movement with puppets", with Marta Fernandes da Silva in puppet construction and scenography, with Luciano Reis in voice technique, with Filipe Crawford in neutral, larval, expressive masks, commedia del ́arte and Bali masks and with Matteo Cifariello, he trained in clown. He is artistic director of MIMMOS - Mostra Internacional de Marionetas, máscaras e Objetos de de Sintra and Director/programmer of Casa da Marioneta de Sintra.

In 2015 he made his debut at Teatro Dom Roberto and has never stopped since. Seeking to preserve this traditional art so important in Portuguese puppets he was the driving force behind the event É SÓ PALHETA - Encontro de Teatro Tradicional Dom Roberto, which has its first edition in September 2021.
